Jon is the former president of AgraShares LLC, an investment firm specializing in agricultural finance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from North Park University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University. As a longtime member of the NCP board, Jon deeply believes in the work of NCP, and assisting the Covenant Church in advancing God’s kingdom.

Reed is a former mortgage broker with JP Morgan Chase Bank and a residential mortgage specialist with Wintrust Mortgage Corporation of Northfield, Illinois. Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Economics from Indiana University. “Our board has the unique privilege and opportunity to hear the faith stories of our sister churches and to provide the funds to advance God’s kingdom,” he said. “This board is a blessing to me and to all the churches we serve.”
As an expert professional in urban planning, Bob has provided consulting services to the ECC, its regional conferences, and its local churches. He has been qualified as an Expert Witness in city planning cases. As the founder of NCP, the central mortgage lender for Covenant Churches, he is amazed how large the organization has grown. He also formed the Covenant Development Corporation. With experience as the executive secretary and director of Urban Church Planning and Executive Secretary for the Department of Church Growth and Evangelism, he brings a unique perspective and deep insight to the board. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from North Park College (now University), a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College, a Bachelor of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary, a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington, and a PhD in Urban Planning from the University of Washington. He continues his vision for NCP as a member of the board.

With nearly a decade of experience as NCP president, Steve is a wonderful resource for your next church project, loan or investment! He guides the full loan, investment and vision area of NCP. Previously, Steve worked 18 years as director of Technical Services for the ECC’s Department of Church Growth and Evangelism (coaching church plants through the land and facility processes). His strong financial services expertise includes leadership positions at FirstBank, Charter Bank and Trust, and AmBank—all in Colorado. Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, and is a graduate of the Prochnow Graduate School of Banking, University of Wisconsin-Madison, a three-year banking program conducted by the American Banking Association.

Dave was previously a partner in the B2 Group, a CEO/CFO Consulting Team that assisted entrepreneurs and companies with growing and realigning their companies, including Venture Capital and other forms of financing. Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Park University. “Prior to my service as a member of the NCP BOD, my interaction with NCP as a lender to local Covenant churches was simply outstanding!” Dave said. “The interaction with NCP staff and the process to loan completion were both helpful and professional. Both churches I served (as a lay person) loved the idea of utilizing Kingdom resources for Kingdom expansion.”

David has a long tenure with The Evangelical Covenant Church, having served as president of NCP for 32 years, ending 2007, and also served as controller of the church for nearly 18 years. Prior to that, he held accounting positions with two for-profit firms. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from North Park University and a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University, and also received his CPA certification. “It’s been a privilege to serve the Covenant church for 32 years,” he said. “It’s been especially rewarding to have been able to come back to the board and see the strong leadership the new management team has provided after my departure. I thank God for their service."

Peter has held a number of financial management positions over the years, including as executive vice president with Capmark Bank and Capmark Finance, Inc. in Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Senior pastor of Community Covenant Church in Calumet Park, Illinois
Prior to his current pastorate, Shaun served as the executive pastor of Citadel of Faith Covenant Church in Detroit, and as the Great Lakes Conferences’s interim director of church planting, a church planting coach, and a Great Lakes Conference Board trustee. Previously, he served Jo-Ray House, Inc. as interim chief operating officer, New Life Covenant Church in Chicago as associate minister and director of church operations, and Salem Baptist Church of Chicago as special assistant to the senior pastor. In addition, Shaun has served faith-based organizations as a consultant in the areas of leadership development, church growth and strategic planning.
Executive vice president and chief financial officer, First National Bank and Trust Co., Shawnee, Oklahoma
With more than 38 years in the banking industry, Annette previously served as chief financial officer at Valliance Bank in Oklahoma City and Oklahoma State Bank in Guthrie. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership, both from the University of Oklahoma. Annette received her CPA certification in 1997. “I first became acquainted with NCP and its mission through my local church and am blessed to now have an opportunity to serve on the board,” Annette said. “NCP board membership allows me to serve at an intersection of my faith and my career.”

As president of the ECC, Gary brings a whole-church perspective to the work of the NCP board. Previously, he served as the executive minister of the Department of Church Growth and Evangelism of the ECC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of California-Berkeley and a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary.
