How do I contribute to my IRA? HSA?

Current year contributions can be made online by logging into your account at nationalcovenantproperties.org. To make a prior or current year contribution with a check, mail a check made payable to National Covenant Properties with a letter including your name, account number, and contribution year. Please note, all contributions received without a clear contribution year will be added as current year contributions per IRS Publication 590(A).

How do I redeem a fixed rate certificate?

Redemption requests can be made online by logging into your account at nationalcovenantproperties.org. If you have not registered for online access, you can write a letter of instruction (be sure to indicate whether you would like a full or partial redemption) or use the maturity notice you received three to four weeks before the maturity date of your certificate. If you would like the funds transferred directly to your bank account, include a voided check. Mail all of the above to us at our office address: 8303 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631.

Early redemptions are reserved for unexpected financial emergencies and approved on a case by case basis. We ask investors to honor the terms of their fixed rate investments.

How do I redeem a variable rate certificate?

Redemption requests can be made online by logging into your account at nationalcovenantproperties.org. If you have not registered for online access, you can write a letter of instruction including a request for a full redemption or a specific dollar amount. If you would like the funds transferred directly to your bank account, include a voided check. Mail all of the above to us at our office address: 8303 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631.

How do I reissue a certificate?

To change the type of certificate (example: from a variable rate to a five-year fixed rate):
    1. Write a letter of instruction requesting the change from one type of investment to another.
    2. Complete a new Certificate Application to indicate your preferences for the reissued investment under the “Investment Options” section.
    3. Mail all of the above to us at our office address: 8303 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631 or email to National Covenant Properties.
To change the owner of the certificate (example: from mother to daughter):
    1. Write a letter of instruction.
    2. Complete a Certificate Amendment Form providing both current and new account holder information. Please note, this form needs to be signed by both current and new owners. Note: If you are reissuing certificates to your trust, please include copies of your trust documents. See page 2 of the Certificate Amendment Form for the specific pages needed.
    3. Mail all of the above to us at our office address: 8303 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631 or email to National Covenant Properties.

How do I add or remove a joint owner of my certificates?

  1. Write a letter of instruction.
  2. Complete a Certificate Amendment Form listing current and new owners. Please note, this form must be signed by both current and new owners.
  3. If a joint owner has passed away, please send us an original death certificate.
  4. Mail all of the above to us at our office address: 8303 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631 or email to National Covenant Properties (please note: original death certificates must be mailed).

An account holder has passed away, what do I do?

Please send us an original death certificate with your contact information. We will contact any/all named beneficiaries with specific instructions. Death certificates will not be returned unless requested.
